Do you know?which fruit to eat & which not to eat?

Now the fruit season is going on. Many people must be eating the fruit very enthusiastically. What are the benefits [1] of eating any fruit? How much playing can be harmful? I will try to tell you these things today. Let's know about some summer fruits of Bangladesh.


Mango

Raw mangoes are available in Bangladesh from April. But ripe mangoes start coming from May.  Mango is a popular fruit for its taste, nutrition and aroma. 

According to Bangladesh Agricultural Information Service, "Mango is very effective in filling iron and sodium deficiency.  Mangoes reduce [2] harmful cholesterol levels in the blood. Fights diabetes.  Helps kill cancer cells. Mango contains high amount of protein [3] which protects the body from germs.


Mangoes contain vitamin A which improves eyesight. Also removes dryness around the eyes. Ripe mangoes contain more sugar than unripe mangoes. Raw mango helps to increase energy in the body. 

Nutritionist Syeda Sharmin Akhter says,"Ripe mangoes are high in glucose, so eating them in small amounts can be problematic for diabetics. But raw food is not a problem for diabetics. Raw mangoes are very beneficial for stroke patients and those with various neurological problems.

The jackal

Nutritionists say that jackfruit in Bangladesh is known as the non-vegetarian of the poor. This fruit can be eaten raw. That is, every part of it is used as food. Jackfruit is high in sugar.  And since sugar is high, it can keep the energy level good. 

It contains various nutrients such as thiamin, riboflavin, calcium, iron potassium, sodium, zinc and niacin. Raw jackfruit contains several times more fiber than ripe jackfruit. So raw jackfruit is beneficial for diabetics.


However, if you eat too much jackfruit, you may gain weight. Because it contains a lot of sugars, nutritionist Syeda Sharmin Akhter says, "If you eat jackfruit by reducing rice, it may be beneficial, or it may be counterproductive." 

This jackfruit increases digestion power in some cases, and the opposite is also seen.  Some people experience belly bloating.  Digestive problems also occur.


Lychee

Litchi contains dietary energy, carbohydrates, fiber, calcium, iron and vitamin C. It plays a role in preventing tumors. However, nutritionists ask to pay attention to not eating too much litchi. Eating too much litchi can cause indigestion. 

Also eat litchi on an empty stomach but not right. A research report published in the international medical journal Lancet revealed that "lychee contains a chemical called hypoglycin that prevents the formation of sugar in the body".

Jam

Jam strengthens the bones of the body and helps cure diarrhea and ulcers.  Can tighten skin, improve memory.  Various studies have shown that jam extract inhibits the action and degradation of cancer-causing free radicals. 

Jam has a special role in curing anorexia and nausea. Nutritionists say, "Anyone can eat 200 (ml) liter cup of jam [3] without any problem. But half ripe jam should not be eaten.

Eating jam on an empty stomach can cause problems with ACD in some people. It is also accepted to drink milk after eating jam. Nutritionists suggest that it may cause indigestion.


Guava

Guavas are now available throughout the year in Bangladesh. However, nutritionist Syeda Sharmin Akhter says that ‘‘Native guavas from Kazi guavas are excellent in terms of nutrition. This fruit is beneficial for most people.  However, guava seeds can cause constipation. Many people may also get ACDD after eating guava.


 Watermelon

Watermelon is rich in antioxidants that reduce stretch marks. Besides, it reduces the risk of cancer present in the body, colon cancer, lung cancer and breast cancer. 

Watermelon contains a lot of water, so kidney patients cannot eat this fruit. And it is not beneficial to eat watermelon because it contains water. Eating watermelon in excess can cause indigestion and acidity.

There are many desi fruits in the market now including amra, jamrul, bel, latkon. Which are very useful fruits.  Nutritionists have been saying that "You should not give up eating fruits."  Can't eat more.
